Slowing Down for a Minute or Two

The past couple weeks have been crazy. Crazy, I tell you. Work has been a poopstorm, and home has been pretty exhausting, too. The good news is, these last couple weeks should go fairly smoothly. And then 2010 begins.

So what’s been going on besides the end-of-year rushes in home and work life? Well, all sorts of stuff, I suppose. Getting into the training for the next road/cyclocross season, of course. Framebuilding class is plugging right along, and that’s a f’n blast.

Today is my only complete day off in the last two weeks, so I’m taking advantage of it — I’ve got a to-do list as long as my arm, and I made sure to mix common household tasks with personal stuff (like this blog post), which should make it a fairly good day.

Kate’s off at the swim school, shadowing another instructor (Kate’s been away for awhile now), getting ready to start back up with that part-time gig in January. And I’m trying to decide what to do next. Probably start a load of laundry and then take out the trash.

Hope you’re all doing well and that work/home/holidays combo isn’t kicking your asses the way it’s been knocking mine around.
