I spent a majority of my life in a 10′ by 10′ space surrounded by walls with no natural light, get a large percentage of my food from machines just down the hall, and my social interaction comes to me largely via the Internet. In short, I am completely — socially and mentally — ready to spend two and a half years living in a metal box on the surface of the Red Planet.
