- Joe Lieberman wants you to relax about the “Internet kill switch” legislation. Because the government never abuses its power and its for your own protection that we don’t let you see alternate viewpoints. Plus, it’s Weasel Joe the Wonder Douche. I feel better about this already.
- The Giant Impact Hypothesis. AKA “the Big Splash,” one of the theories on the formation of the Moon.
- NASA’s Kepler Mission continues to be a goldmine of data, having found 706 candidates for new planets since April of 2009. Pretty amazing piece of work. And starting to make me think that NASA should stick to observational and robotic probes and that the government should farm out manned missions similar to the old WWII-era equipment acquisition model.
