- Been contemplating dishing out a new WP theme for this blog. Not sure if that’ll take the form of a free theme, or if I’ll roll my own. Kinda thinking that I might do the latter. Maybe.
- Cholesterol-free diet is truckin’ right along. Have been logging my soda intake to do a phase out, but after talking to Kate last night, I don’t know. I might just outright try the cold-turkey approach one more time.
- Undertaking an interesting project at work. More on that as things develop.







Be careful. You can’t go totally “cholesterol-free” because your body does need it. There is a also a difference between dietary cholesterol and what your body produces naturally. If your high cholesterol is a function of your body over-producing, rather than strictly dietary, cutting out high cholesterol foods will not help. I went almost totally vegan for about 6 months and my cholesterol went down a whopping 8 points. When I went back to eating dairy and started taking the fish oil, I got the 40 point drop.
Well yeah, I still taking in small amounts of cholesterol. And I’m not going vegan, either. I’m doing the Udo’s Oil — which is basically the fish oil plus extras, derived from plant sources.
