Five years ago today, I met my wife. It was a Match.com date, and we’d been going back and forth via email for about two months. I was in “date around” mode, and wasn’t thinking anything in the way of serious. And then there was that moment, sitting in a booth at the Herkimer where I made her laugh really hard for the first time. And the way her face lit up, I knew I was going to end up in the middle of something serious.
So here we are, five years later. Married, kid, house. It’s a life I never expected for myself, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
