Friday Miscellaneous

  • Lots of bike stuff this weekend — taking the Cervelo out for a spin, doing some work on both Salsas, a shift at the bike shop, and my framebuilding apprenticeship session. Does it sound like I am complaining? Because I’m totally not. You know how I am about bikes.
  • Seriously thinking about picking up Battlefield: Bad Company 2 for the PS3 tonight. I probably will.
  • Need to get in for a dentist’s appointment and a doctor’s appointment in the near future.
  • Tony Kornheiser is currently way up there on my shitlist for his advocating violence against cyclists while on-air at ESPN. Seriously? Who does that? And further, who lets an employee put them at risk of legal action by the next guy “tagged” by a car? My god, man. You may not like us, but we have just as much right to the road as you do, and it’s something we all have to share, whether you like it or not.
  • I don’t care about the Final Four. I just don’t. Basketball holds very little appeal for me.
  • Really want to go see Hubble 3D at the IMAX.
  • So some stupid couple from Philadelphia believes that because they photographed something that looks vaguely like a skeleton in the waters off Aruba, that they’ve found the remains of Natalee Holloway. Because you know that no one ever dies in or near Aruba.
