There Are Some Who Call This “Fucktober”

I’m normally one of them, and this year, October (or whatever you want to call it) is starting off mixed-bag.

The downside: Kate being super-sick — it kills me to see her suffering like this. Oh and the Vikings are looking like they have no idea how to win a game. If having a huge lead at halftime doesn’t work, they try trailing at halftime. Clearly, that’s not going to work either.

The upside: Rocked Murphy-Hanrehan on the 29er yesterday, and plans to ride Cuyuna next weekend with Aaron and Leslie. Fuck yes.

So yeah. Things are chugging along. I haven’t had much time to post here as I’ve got a lot going on, and that doesn’t look to change much in the near future. I’ll post when I can, Interweebs, but it’ll be a bit spotty for a few more weeks, in all likelihood.

  1. Hi. Just “surfed” over here after reading about you on the I Have Cat blog, then I read your blog entry from when Mooch died and cried my eyes out, then I came to the main page and read your comments about the Vikings. First off, I hope your wife gets to feeling better soon. Having never had a kid, I have no idea what “morning” sickness feels like, but I do know people who have gone through it and assure me it’s not always in the morning and it’s miserable as hell.

Second, I am with you on the Vikings. What the heck is wrong with them? 0 – 4?!?!?! Seriously?!?!?! Makes me wonder why I started following football in the first place.
